| Product development manager for E-PoS Rolly Martins says the company's biggest challenge today is the rising competition in the market.
"We used to have a monopoly, but now there are a lot of other players in the retail technology market," he says. "E-PoS has to keep up with the competition and one of the ways is attending exhibitions like GITEX."
But the primary strategy to differentiate the brand from its rivals is to target the upper-tier of the market with the launch of a premium point-of-sale (POS) range, says Martins. "We used to be in the middle-tier but we are now migrating to the higher end of the market to stay ahead of the competition. We are showcasing our mobile processors as well as new machines that are customisable and colourful," he says.
Having developed an impressive reputation across many sectors, including the banking, government and recreation markets, E-PoS will be looking to further promote its brand at GITEX.
